Transitioning to a raw food diet can be challenging. Allow yourself time to make these changes. You don't have to go 100% right away. Only you know how you best change habits.

Start with a few simple changes, and notice how you feel in your body and mind.
For example, instead of a bagel with cream cheese, or cereal and milk for breakfast, start your day off with fresh fruit of your choice.
Fruit is easily digested making the nutrients you consume available to your body quickly. When choosing a raw foods diet, you truly can eat as much as you desire. Overeating is never a good choice, so really listen to your body and begin to notice signs of fullness.
The cool thing about eating fruits throughout the morning, is that you can do so every hour if you so desire. Notice how your body is feeling.
How about starting your lunch off with some more fresh fruit followed by a salad of leafy greens? You'll be amazed at the energy you gain eating this way.
Enjoy an afternoon snack, choosing fruits and veggies again. Stop eating fruits about a half hour before consuming foods from other groups. This is very important for your digestion.
Enjoy a large salad of leafy greens with veggies of your choice and perhaps some tomato as well. Eat as much salad as you desire BEFORE eating the cooked portion of your meal.
The unaltered enzymes in the raw portion of your meal will aid your digestion.
Everybody is different. Some folks like to make a slow transition while others will go 100% raw overnight.
Jot down what you are eating and how you feel. Ask questions and learn all you can as you transition to optimal health.
