"Fruit Smoothies"

Smoothies are quick and easy to make, and are equally easy to clean up. You'll want a blender and your favorite fruits. Here are some ideas to get you started.

  1. Orange, Kiwi, Strawberry Smoothie: 3 kiwis, 2 cups strawberries, 6-8 ice cubes, 1 cup orange juice. Place all ingredients in your blender, including ice cubes. Pulse until ice cubes are liquefied. Turn blender up to top speed until all ingredients are smooth. Pour and enjoy. Immediately rinse blender pitcher and top for ease of cleaning.
  2. Banana-Orange Smoothie: 6 bananas, 1.25 cups orange juice, 6-8 ice cubes. Place all ingredients in blender. Pulse until ice cubes are dissolved. Turn blender to high and blend until smooth and frothy. Pour and enjoy! Rinse blender pitcher and top immediately for ease of cleaning.
  3. Cucumber-Melon Delight: 1 cantaloupe, 1 medium cucumber, 1C watermelon, 8-9 ice cubes. Place all ingredients in blender pitcher and pulse until ice cubes dissolve. Turn blender to high until smooth and frothy. Enjoy! Rinse blender pitcher and top for ease of cleaning.

"Fruit Up"

Try wrapping your brain around the idea of the mono-meal.

What's that? It's as simple as you can get. Pick your favorite fruit and eat as much of it as you want until you are satisfied.

That's the beauty of the raw food diet. You can eat as much fruit as you want! No calorie restriction, no limitations.

Just stick to fresh, ripe raw fruits for breakfast. Your day will begin with a bright outlook and lots of raw energy.

My favorite mono-meal year 'round is bananas. I love 'em ripe, all spotted up on the skins. Sweet and yummy. Just peel and eat, or blend 'em up with some water and ice for a delicious smoothie-drink.
