Modified Push Ups

Modified push ups are a fantastic chest exercise to include in your beginner workout.

Learn how to do this exercise correctly and you will work much more than your chest!

Get Ready To Rip Up Your Chest Muscles

  1. Begin on hands and knees on a yoga mat or the floor.

  2. Bring shoulders over hands, making a straight line from your head to your knees.

  3. Pull your belly in towards your spine and hold.

  5. Pull your shoulder blades back and down away from your ears. Hold.

  6. Inhale and lower yourself to the ground keeping your shoulders, hips, and knees in line.

  7. Exhale and push yourself back to your starting position.

  9. Complete 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 repetitions each.
