"Incline Bicep Curl"

Congratulations! You are about to challenge yourself with the incline bicep curl.

This twist on basic curls is one of the best biceps exercises around.

Remember to challenge your muscles by choosing a weight that makes it difficult to get to your last few repetitions. That's when ripping it up occurs! ;)

Choose your dumbbells, cables, or tubing wisely.

You'll also want an adjustable weight bench or stability ball for this one.

Grab your weights and let's get started!

"Rip Up Your Biceps With This Bicep Exercise"

  1. Adjust your bench to an incline.

    • You'll be sitting upright, but leaning back slightly.

    • If you are using an exercise ball, you'll want to sit on the ball and then roll down so your feet are hip width apart and your mid back is on the ball.

  2. Sit on the bench with your back against the back cushion and feet firmly on the floor.

  3. Arms are at your sides with weights in hand.

  4. Pull your shoulder blades back and down. Hold.

  5. Keeping your wrists straight, bring the weights to chest height using your bicep to do so.

  6. Lower the weights to your starting position controlling them the entire time.

Be mindful of breathe control and form to get the most out of your workout!

Complete 2 to 3 sets of 10-15 repetitions.
