"Twisters: One Of The Best Ab Exercises For Obliques"

Twisters are included in our best ab exercises collection. This is a great one for hitting those obliques. Once you lose those love handles, you'll have great looking side abs with twisters!

"You Can Do This One Standing Up"

  1. Stand with feet wider than hip width apart.
  2. Bend knees so that they are over your toes.
  3. Keeping hips facing straight ahead, pull your belly button toward your spine and hold. This will allow you to stabilize and protect your lower back.
    • You can choose to bend your elbows or to have arms straight out to your sides.
  4. Keeping hips facing forward, begin to twist your body from side to side remaining up right.
  5. Use your oblique muscles to help you twist.
  6. When you have squeezed one side as much as you can, begin to twist to your other side.


  • Twisting once to each side completes one repetition.
  • Perform 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps each.
